AUDC 2013

Has it already been a week since we were at AUDC 2013 in Orlando?  Looking back, our team felt that the entire netFORUM community truly “raised the bar” this year.   With a record-breaking turnout, the conference couldn’t have delivered more for team Agilutions.  We  met interesting new people, reconnected with many others, and learned a great deal from the sessions we attended.  Our own two sessions (Project Management-Parenting Style with Keith and Managing Chapter and Regional Registration with Stephen/Barb) received great attendance and feedback as well, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with the experience overall.

For those who were unable to attend, we thought we would share Avectra’s highlights video.  ‘Til next time!

Welcome Trent Johnson and Rick Giampietro

Agilutions is pleased to have welcomed two new software developers to our team.  Trent Johnson joined us on December 3 with an expertise in web development and a natural curiosity for using technology to solve business problems.  Rick Giampietro, who began on January 20, is a true left brain/right brain creative thinker who combines his experience in software and web development with a BFA in English (fiction writing) with minors in philosophy and religious studies.  We’re happy to strengthen our team with the additions of Trent and Rick and hope you’ll have a chance to meet them soon!

Adopt-A-Family

Ho ho ho!  We at Agilutions have been thinking about Christmas early this year, having just wrapped up our gifts for 2 families we’ve “adopted” through the Salvation Army. Members of our staff have thoughtfully picked out clothing, toys and grocery gift cards, ensuring that their holidays are merry and warm.  We’re very proud of the generosity of our team this season… thank you all.

Colorado Gives Day

Today is Colorado Gives Day, and we are proud to support this wonderful philanthropic initiative in our local community.

All throughout Colorado, for a 24 hour period, people are encouraged to make an online donation to their favorite charities through GivingFirst.org.   100% of every donation received today goes directly to the selected charity (no fees deducted) and are boosted up to $300,000 by the FirstBank Incentive Fund.

Agilutions has not only encouraged our employees to participate, but we are also matching each donation they make.  We are gratified to have been able to support the following charities today, thanks to the generosity of our Agilutionaries:

  • Family Star
  • Colorado Public Radio
  • Flobots.org
  • GLBT Community Center of Colorado
  • Rocky Mountain Children’s Law Center
  • The GrowHaus
  • Denver Dumb Friends League
  • Bicycle Colorado
  • Rocky Mountain PBS
  • SOS Outreach
  • Denver Art Museum
